Interpretation of Major Writing #1

The Analytical Report assignment reminds me of my history day project on the Korean War. It is similar in the process how we interviewed a veteran directly from the war, except this time it will be a professional from the business field. Similar to my past thesis assignments from my English class, we are required to go deeper than just the "how" it works, but also on the "why" it works. Just like any professional paper, it is required that we format it in the correct way. For example: header, page numbers, title, and etc.

Questions:
1. Will it be okay to choose a field of interest if we can't find anyone to interview from our specific field?
2. What is the difference between an academic vs non-academic writing?
3. Do the writings have to be from the person we interview?

Introduction Automobiles have been a significant part of human history for centuries. They make a lot of our daily jobs more simple and achievable, such as transportation. However, the impact of internal combustion engines in cars have been causing pollution and releasing chemicals that are permanently changing our environment. It is undeniable that society is addicted to fossil fuel and the only way to change it and keep the perks of technology is to switch to electric power. There are ways to generate electricity through nature, such as capturing energy from the sun, using windmill, and so on. The key is to figure out which renewable resource is most favored by people, so it’ll be easier to build the infrastructure with everyone’s support.
