The Definition of Rhetoric

Rhetoric was first used as a tool 2500 years ago in ancient Greece for shaping legal life, politics, and forms of communication. It is powerful in a way how it can create knowledge and define social groups. However, there are also critics saying that it focuses too much on the how things are being said and concerns less on the what is being said.
